Argghhh..... author life.

        Good day Scallywags,
               I hope you have not come here to loot my treasure, and steal me booty. I can assure you lot that there is nothing here to pillage and pilfer. I took somewhat of a sabbatical to recoup, and re-cast my lot. Some days being a pirate writer is not as monetarily rewarding as other days. Some days I scratch my head and say.. "Why am I doing this again?"
       To be honest, I can't always answer that question with an honest answer. Most days the answer is simply put, because if I don't write, it's like I am not breathing properly. If you know me well dirty dawgs, you know I get a touch bit of the crazy every now and then.
      I would just like to inform you lot, that the reason why is because the writing is like a pirate stealing and pilfering. I'm really not one without the other. Meaning, I am really not me if I don't get the necessary time to sit down and write, and there hasn't been anytime for that lately as we have had a mite bit too much pillaging going on in this house. Aye, but alas the little looters are out of school, pirate classes and all, which is giving this pirate mom/writer a much needed break so I am here to inform you that I will be out of touch with Reality for a bit. Which means, life is about to get a lot more fun! So strap on your pirate patches, and pull on yer rusty boots. prepare to sail the raging seas with me!

Arrrrrgghhh, you'll be glad you did! Yo ho, yo ho... a writers life for me.
