Arrrrggghhh, Social matey.

             So, It's been a bit since I started this new blog, and I realized that I haven't written anything new for a while. It's been a month of high treason and raging waters for me, and I needed to wait until I hit dry land. So here's is whats new.


     I've read on whatever blogs and articles I can get my hands on to find out what it takes to become a well known author (AKA... A paid author) Turns out everyone is doing this writing thing and only a select few go all the way with it. Much like singing, or art, or anything really that one aspires to do, it is all about who know, and networking.

NETWORKING ~ NETWORKING ~ NETWORKING

And you guessed it.....

More networking.

So I did a good thing making myself apart of every event that I could squiggle into. However, it is also about what type of event you go to also, therefore.... I am seeing a literary summit in my near future. Just not sure which one yet.

I know, It's all boring drivel, but it leads me to a point.

I am losing my mind. I have had my face book for a long time, and as of late I have felt like throwing it out the window, along with my computer, because I am so weary of the hateful nonsense being spewed everywhere I turn on FB. However, since FB is a great place to network... not only am I not allowed to throw it out, but I also have to maintain it, I have since added a linkedin, a twitter, and horror of horrors... instagram.

I don't know how authors like J.K Rowling, C.S lewis, Stephanie Meyer and etc... keep up with all of these things?? Perhaps they have the money to pay assistants to keep them up, but I have always been very personable and relational, so I don't think I would ever just leave any of my social accounts in the hands of someone that I pay to answer, and keep in contact with my readers.

Next, I want to make a promise that I will be keeping this up a little better, I find that being blogg-y once a week is a good thing for me. It allows me to vent, and talk about what I have been up to, without being all up in the mix of everyone's life.

Today I am working on finishing the edits of book 2 so that I can send it back to my editor. With any luck, it will be published before October, which was the original release month. However, with that in play it also means I need to get 3rd book finished so I can start the process with that one.


What I am working on after this series is #1 my life story, #2 an art centered bible study and #3 a sci-fi fantasy about what would happen if we were granted mortality.

I am excited about all of the above.

Maybe I am on my way to making a career out of this. :)

Anyway, thanks for being along for the ride. I am just approaching the first tsunami-like wave, lets see how I navigate through! :)
